Clearing Agents & Releasing Costs

NOTE: Wharf Charges

The wharf and customs charges are separate from the releasing agent's fees. We are currently working with Kingston Wharf and Montego Bay Wharf to obtain a list of these charges. As you may be aware, it's so difficult to pin down these massive Government entities to release their pricing algorithms. But well done to Jamaica Freight and Turnel Shipping Services for working with us to provide clarity on their fees and charges.

Thus far, Wharf charges are for:

A - Handling

B - Lifting fee (if palletised cargo shipped)

C - Storage fees (these are charged Pro-rata)

We are working with Jamaica Customs to pin down set rates for the above.
